sadly enough you cannot mine redstone, lapis, emerald and diamond with a golden pickaxe, i suggest to change this.
If you want to get into material science, I would rather have a gold pickaxe than a diamond pickaxe.
Diamond would chip if you hit basically anything (but luckily it wouldn’t get scratched)..
